a college student staying in malaysia . due to her culture shock..she decided to learn to cook for herself. she always gets mistakes when cooking and all..but hopefully she can improve more in her passion of cooking.

rice meal -kedgeree

kedgeree (or kitcherie, kitchari or kitchiri)

i learned this recipe when im in form 5..when i was super boring with the o lvl holidays. i decide to take up cooking to kill time.

i got this recipe mag from aussie.. loong time ago.
this meal was introduced by the indians in UK.

hmm... i like this meal because i like curry and tumeric... i usually add them when i fry eggs with rice and also in pasta meals... so conclusion is.. i love something not salt added food.
this can be for the college students cus the ingredients are soo easy to manage and cheapo~~
for full blast..add tobasco or wasabi powder.. very keng lo.

RECIPE~~~
serves one..
one teaspoon of butter,
half brown onion, finely chopped
one tsp curry powder
1/4 lemon, juiced
half cup rice or basmati rice,
1 hard boiled egg(boil for 10 mins)
1/4 tin tuna flaked.

1. melt butter over medium heat. Add onion. cook for 3 mins .
Add curry powder and lemon juice. stir well combined.
2. add cooked rice to saucepan. stir until well coated.
cook , stir occasionally for 5-8 mins or heated through.
3. roughly chopped half of the egg. gently fold in through the rice with tuna flakes.
season with black pepper or salt. cook further 1-2 mins.
remove from heat and serve witht he remaining half of the egg for presentation look..

but i simply skip that cus i cook that for eat la hahaa.easy yah~~ EASY~~~
o yea i personally like to make it one full lemon instead of 1/4.. i love sourness.. lol~~

dang im tired to type it down these things =.=
